Microneedling

A woman with dark hair is smiling with her eyes closed while an acupuncturist holds a microneedling device on her cheek.

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a minimally invasive facial rejuvenation treatment that stimulates the skin's natural healing process to remodel the skin. Through the creation of these intentional microtraumas, the production of collagen and elastin are significantly enhanced while the absorption of products is increased up to 2000%. The overall effect is a more even skin tone that appears taut and glowing.

Noticeable results include:

  • reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

  • improved hyperpigmentation and age spots

  • improved effects of sun damage

  • decreased pore size

  • improved skin texture and elasticity

  • decreased acne breakouts

  • diminished scars

In Pennsylvania, microneedling is considered a medical procedure and can only be performed by a Licensed Acupuncturist, Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse. Licensed Acupuncturists performing microneedling treat the skin as well as the underlying issues, so the overall health of the skin is addressed.

Treatment includes rejuvenating cleanser, gentle numbing cream, witch hazel, body acupuncture points, microneedling of the face and neck, high molecular hyaluronic acid, boosting collagen serum, cooling cucumber mask, phyto stem cell serum, peptide eye cream, and replenishing mist from TOMA Skin Therapies. A mini skincare kit will be provided to use at home after treatment, along with detailed aftercare instructions.
